The rooms are almost clean and has hot storage water heater and our room had air conditioner as well as old style TV with Set top Box with almost all Tamil channels available. Lift works but have to be careful with the doors though as sometimes it closes pretty fast. Location is very good and near to new bus station and is known to all auto drivers. The place has been used in the past by my sister and she says that it is safe place though it has become slight old and does not have the modern facility like WiFi or in house restaurant. The rent is reasonable at Rs.900 Per night for Double bed AC. There is no intercom phone facility and hence you will need to inform direct to reception for any requirement. No soaps / towels / bed sheets are provided, which anyway is good during this Corona time, no one is sure if the towels or sheets have been cleaned properly or not. Couple of mobile phone charging points are there which suits the Indian style plug with round pin.
Don't ever go to this hotel as you can't feel basic cleanliness even for a paise. Only advantage is that it is near to bus stand. The room given to us was full of dust not only in the floor but everywhere including chairs, wardrobes, wardrobe stand. Worst was bathroom and toilet. It was not cleaned after the checkout of previous guest. Bathroom floor was slippery because of clogging and moss. Overall waste of money

Worth for the cost they're charging .... If you are looking for room in budget in kumbakonam town area, dont search for more lodges .... In my experience, this is best based on the cost and hygiene comparative to couple more lodges I enquired !!!
Such a nasty place not preferable hotel room are maintained very bad and bathroom are dirty even public toilet are good compared to them.. waste of money I have been there for one day it like hell so they must improve everything to manage such hotels...
For their rent charges 900/- for an overnight stay, it was a worst experience -- no switch was working anywhere inside room -- i mean it literally. I will not get back to this hotel ever. The only advantage is it is right next to kumbakonam buststand.
OMG , FILTHY, WATER STINKS, TARIFF NOT WORTH. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. UNDER THE COT , I CAN SEE WATER BOTTLES AND DUST WHICH ARE NOT CLEANED FOR PAST 6 MONTHS..
Bathrooms are worst and need severe maintenance works. Room was okay, but the electrical sockets are out in bad condition.
