The dam is neat and clean. One should visit in the evening hours post 4pm or in the early hours. The environment here is serene and calm. One should take their vehicle till the mid because there is no parking infornt of the main gate. This is a good spot to hangout with family for a few hours.

Good place..one can spend their evening there..it is so relaxing...must visit the place..not too crowded... Have a visit once
A small dam... Place is not well maintained. No good restaurant near the dam. No provision for any activity for visitors. Weather is not favourable during summer. Many times the place gets over crowded. Place is easily approachable and is located at the offset of a national highway.
Great place to hang out with family and friends. You can book a boat ride order food and also play games in the garden near the dam. They offer day camping as well in the area
One of the good places to enjoy nature and it's serenity, surrounded by lohardih forest block. Meaningful birdlife, wild animals and good for family day outings. Please leave the place clean and carry all the leftovers.
Kodar Dam is also known as Shahid Veer Narayan Sing Dam. It is made in 1976. Now it is also Eco tourist spot inaugurated by CM Bhupesh Baghel. Boating facilities available now. It is near kaunwajhar gaon at Mahasamund district.
Nice place to chill out with friend/family, you can cook your own food on the shore of reservoir, and do some swimming, nothing special though. Boating facility is also available.
