The place was a just a haven indeed! I loved every single minute there. The Silver Cascade waterfalls was a magical spring indeed. It was so beautiful. Then the kodaikanal lake needs no words...a misty boat ride is surely worth the money! And the dolphin nose is a fantastic view point, although only the brave ones can go to the ledge and take a snap :)

Beautiful place to hang out, cycling around the lake is a different experience. Boating in the lake is so calming.

A good one and a big one. Don't purchase anything from the nearby shops. Too costly. Very careful with shop keepers. You can buy all things but bargain the price. We paid 100 rupees for the cap. 400 rupees for a t-shirt and 200 for a wooden statue. But food items are costly here. Better take the food from outside the lake area. Too much of a crowd on holidays. Try to go on week days.

A very calm and serene lake. Best to visit during early morning hours between 6-8 am to avoid crowd especially on weekends. Can get cycle on rent for as cheap as 50 bucks for an hour. A full round around the lake is approx 3 kms and there are many places to eat at different points and mostly these are economical. Weekends can be crowded so avoid taking a car during day time as you might end up not finding a parking place and be stuck in traffic around the lake road.

Wow! This is a super awesome place to go for self boating in a lake. They charge Rs150 for half an hour for a 2 person pedal boat.

Avoid daytime and visit during sunset. Have an authentic filter coffee from the small restaurant beside the boat ride point. You may even drive around the lake or rent a bicycle if you are interested.

It's amazing place. Every one must visit here. I loved and enjoyed boating. This lake around 7km. When I was Kodaikanal everyday I walk around the lake it's amazing feelings. And cycling also available here. I enjoyed very well here. But its very deep depth so anyone go boating must wear life jacket. It's safety purpose only I said. Otherwise it's amazing place. All peaple in your life time must visit atleast one time here. It's nature's gift... Thank you very much guys

Best time to visit afternoon. I take a boat ride and enjoyed it. Beautiful place to see. Around lake rental basis harse riding and cycling also available.but they charging higher cost during season. But needs to be enjoyed.For boating 2 person and 4 person pedalling boats are available. For aged person better to take other boat which is hand bat driven by others. No machine boat is available.
