Nice place to take young kids for an outing. Best to go after 4pm so that one can witness the sunset too. There is a toy train there too which the kids would love to take a ride on as well as boat rides. There are some game stalls too like archery and shooting.

It was so beautiful. The beach was so clean and the water was so clear. Cost guards were available for the surveillance. The safe boundaries are clearly determined and guards are continuously monitoring. Umbrellas and chairs are arranged to take the rest in a shady area. It is a really nice place to bring family and friends.

Beach sunset view is Nice. pls families dont stay after 7pm... As there is no Safety and lights, it becomes a lonely place at night. Anti social activities also been reported After these hours.. Ideal time to visit is 4 to 7...In the evening..

This is a great little beach located near St. Thomas Church, Veli, quite near to VSSC. We visited here during Saturday around 5:45 pm and it was quite crowded. The beach area is really picturesque with lots of catamarans, fishing boats, nets and the lot strewn around. The sunset view is one of the most beautiful sights, and be sure to visit here during that time. There were kids flying kites, beach side dwellers, who were playing volleyball, some others playing beach cricket and others who were there just cooling off the summer heat. We loved the whole experience and we walked a long way along the sandy shore. We were able to capture good pictures and enjoyed the sea a lot. Since it was the weekend, the place was abuzz with life. There were concrete steps for people to sit in. One negative that we want to point out is that there are a lot of waste thrown about, which the tourists and the locals are both responsible for. If properly cleaned and maintained, this would be one of the best beaches in town. There is a lot of space to park vehicles, and there are vendors who sell ice creams, fried nuts, popcorn, typical local bhajjis etc. It was a really good relaxing evening.

One of my favorite beach in Trivandum, Peaceful and calm. Best places to enjoy view and not so crowded with visitors, can also enjoy even if you're alone or couple.But there is no shade and it is littered with waste which reduce the beauty of the beach. If you go there don't throw waste there please!!
