KMVN Tourist Rest House, Kausani - Guest house in Kausani, Kausani State - Bageshwar, India

Location of this guest house is great with an amazing view. We had some snacks at this place and the breakfast and service was great. However, there was a weird smell in the reception area and the rooms too were not tidy. The curtains too smalls to cover the windows and the blankets were bad quality.

The view of the trishul peak from our deluxe cottage was excellent. They arranged a campfire in the evening with tea and snacks.The serenity of the place is enjoyable but be careful of the monkeys roaming around. Gandhi ashram is nearby and one should also visit it. Overall experience is good.

Executive rooms are spacious but toilets are not the same. 24 hours hot and cold running water is available. But the food is horrendous. Breakfast is complimentary with the room rent. It is better to dine outside instead of eating here.

In dulex room they do not provide hot water, we are not getting any hot water in the bathroom, they have broken chairs, the room also smells like fish and the cutains are really small. The food is really good and the location also is excellent. They provide free wifi but it doesn't work.

Very bad and old rooms. Short circuit in switches. Curtains aren't good and do not cover the windows totally. Food quality is bad. You need to book the costliest rooms for comfort. But view of Trishul and Chaukhamba is excellent. Try other options to stay.

We visited Trishul Trh on 27 and 28 th. Sept. to relive our memories of 20 years ago when we spent one night there enroute to Kailash manasarover. The view of the megestic snow bound Himalayan peaks from our executive cottage was enthralling. We spent most of our time in our veranda. Overall we had a good stay

Had a beautiful time here with my parents in January 20'. KMVN is located a bit away from main town, so better. Rooms are great with clear majestic view of Himalayas even from rooms! Stay here guyz if u want to have an amazing time

The location is too awesome. You get a panaromic view of many snow clad peaks. The garden blooms with roses of different colours as well as other flowers found only in the mountains in cold climate. The rooms are spacious but old. The electricity supply gets disconnected many times, but the manager put on the generator after about 1-2hrs, inspite of asking them. We had to hence wait for the geyser to be on, as the tap water is very cold even in May. They provided us with early breakfast at 7am but during dinner time the service was very slow.
