Gives you sort of a victorian era feeling as there is no electric connection in the area. Rooms are lit with candles mostly. Wonderful experience, quiet environment, beautiful rooms with great view.

I found its location to be very close to nature and the natural flora surrounding it beautifies it all the more. However the management should pay heed to having a hygienic sewage system as the rooms at first floor and the lobby areas were full of bad odour.

An awesome place. The property is situated inside the bird sanctuary and fully ran by solar power. Well maintained. Would be a bit difficult during winter time. But the snow clad morning view is just mind blowing!!

This is a must stay if you are touring Kumayun region. You can see different peaks from here. You can witness a great sunrise and sunset here. Food, room, service is great. But the view from the terrace is awesome. You can see galaxy if you get clear sky at night. Still one of my best places. Just one thing, you will get lights from 6-9 PM only. Dinner and Breakfast are complementary here.

Good to book, We booked 4 bedrooms at 6500 per day cost in the month June (26,27) From there you can go to zero point, If interested in tracking, go to FRH and find a map and find trail information from there. There are the Binsar hill you don't find any personal property or shops around that is the best thing that makes it full of peace.

Truly an Amazing experience. The provide electricity only 3 hours at night which means you get to enjoy without net, wifi or lights. Temperature is mostly cold so no fans required. The view is so breathtaking and you also see the Himalayas.

Mesmerizing panoramic view of Himalayan range...the best view you can get in Binsar. Very good food and service.. didn't like the quality of the room at all. Electricity is limited. However, we could charge our phones inside the room. There is no geyser in the washroom, but they provide hot water whenever required. Considering the room, Pocket pinch is very high. They charge extra for Driver.

I am highly disappointed that the place has almost no electricity and you are forced live like a cave man with candles. Generators are operated in the evening for 2 hours and that is the only source of electricity. Quickly you need to charge your phone and other entertainment items. This is 21st century and technology is so advanced. The place attracts lots of tourists, but KMVN don't want to improve in its attitude and provide facilities. I asked the receptionist about the possibility of solar, but they have their own excuses, as if it is an impossible task. 3 months in a year there will be no sunlight, old batteries and inverters are the few silly reasons. The nearest electric line is just 2 km away and it is not a difficult task to get electric connection. But, KMVN don't want to do it. The rooms are fairly good, food is good, staff are good. Place has excellent scenic beauty with panaromic view of Himalyan mountains. Guesthouse is located in the middle of the forest. Poor phone network and internet connection is another issue. Place has no other entertainment. I strongly feel the place not worth the amount you pay. Personally, I will not stay here again.
