Kittur Rani Chennamma park&Garden - Park in Hegde, Kumta - Uttara Kannada, India

I was in Kumta just for a day and I visited this place after reading so many reviews that the park is beautiful and several local people use it regularly for exercise and walks etc. There was hardly any one when I visited, and they all appeared to be staff! The park does not seem to have seen any sort of maintenance for several months at least and there is a lot of waste spread around. It is sad to see a park named after one of the stalwarts of the state in such an unclean and unhygienic condition.

Good place to spend some time. Specially if there are small kids they will love to visit this place as it has see- saws,slides and playing space

it is best park in kumta. here various Gym items are there to gym lover and it has huge walking area and good for Yoga..and one more things is it is near to Govt Bus stand and it is beside of national highway ...

Nice garden in Kumta town. But need development to attract more kids..

It is one of the old and famous garden of kumta it is near highway and we can find lot of people over here on Sunday. Kids are always come here along with their parents because here a lot of equipment is there to play for kids. We can also find a lot of college students here as this park is near to college usually students bunk their classes and come here to take fresh air.
