The most amazing ancient officers mess that I have ever come across.
Extremely well maintained and a great British style exquisite display of things.

Its all on the army base... fort William the house all of it... one gate says you can't come in point to the other gate an 3 gates down we just can't go in... not without a permit. So looks like a park on the map but it was a waist of 2 hours walk.

Comfortable stay, excellent ambience and cordial and warm army staff . I was staying alone and was very well looked after . As always army exhibited its distinguished hospitality. A gem of a place to stay!
This place is the officers' mess inside the fort William area. It is out reach of ordinary people unless and until one has the right connections to reach here. In this place it seems like the time has come to a stand still and yes one does get the spooky feeling and I am not going to deny. So only the brave hearts should venture here and weak hearts should stay miles away from this place.
