Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary - Featured Reviews (134)
Kishanpur is one of the hidden gems in UP for Tiger sightings. There are about 30+ tigers in this national park. We did 2 safaris during the weekend. Unfortunately, no tiger sighting but we had a great time with our host Nikhil from Rajwada Farms.
I would recommend visiting kishanpur wildlife sanctuary instead of dudhwa National park. I personally think kishanpur is underrated and the probability of sighting tigers is slightly higher than dudhwa. It is less expensive with a small crowd even if you don't get the chance to sight tigers but you will love the forest and silence.
Kishanpur wildlife sanctuary is part of the Dudhwa tiger rsseve range and is closley located to Dudhwa Main entance around 45 kms away Though a lot of beautiful flora fauna was observed but harldy any tiger was sighted even though only 4 to 5 gypsey were running , in range Tgough yhe guides mentioned there were more tiger density as compared to dudhwa range as area was less in sq km here We satyed at a near by Guest house was a disastor and returned overnight as the place was not good to stay It is total waste of time and money to visit this place if really want to have chance to watch tiger sightingn
Must visit if you are nature and jungle lover can see tiger, leopard, bear and other animals too....believe me guys the jungle is so beautiful apart from this you can visit Dudhwa Tiger Reserve too that 35km approximately
It's adorable to see tigress (whalinda name) here along with wild pig, owl, deer, black buck, elephant ... I will recommend to visit this place rather than Dudhwa ,kishanpur santuary located near Bhira which is 42 km from lakhimpur-kheri and 35 km from Dudhwa. Possibility of seeing tiger is more as forest is small and clear visibility where as Dudhwa is dense.
The Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary is a part of the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve near Mailani in Uttar Pradesh, India.it was brought under the purview of the 'Project Tiger', and together with the Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary and the Dudhwa National Park it forms the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve

For a nature lover, this is unadulterated paradise. People looking for city-like comfort would obviously hate it. We loved it and would always want to go back again and again!
