Kiriburu Guest House - II - Guest house in Kiriburu - West Singhbhum, India

This is the only place on kiriburu hill top which entertains common tourist but for the caretakers own profit. They can charge you anything, depends on them completely. Food is good but again prices are as per wish of the caretaker because it is wholly his income. They will arrange for car hire service also if you want but please negotiate well or else they will not fulfill what you wish to visit but demand full payment. Some tourist agencies have setup services in Barbil and have collaborated with some officers of Sail to arrange stay at the main tourist bunglows in meghtaburu and kiriburu at exorbitant prices. If you want they will arrange package for you at somewhere about 35-40000. Plan for weekend tour - Take train to BaraJamda. Take Sail bus available from outside station to drop you in front of guest house II. This journey is free if you take the Sail bus. Speak to caretaker Dharmendra and negotiate prices for rooms. Don't expect room service but the food is good. Have lunch and walk around. Visit sunset point and get back to hostel. Book a car for next day - arranged by caretaker and Guptaji. Next day get out early at 8am. Visit Jhikra, Pacheri, Intec, ghagrati falls and then move on to thalkobaad forest (saranda). Warm the hands of forest officials of checkpost and you will get your entry permit. Look around and stay if you want at the forest rest house or move down to Barbil. Next day visit jateswar and murga mahadev mandir and move on to Noamundi station to catch the train back home at 2:30pm.

There is no place to stay overnight at kiriburu. So we had to saty over here. The food was provided to us at extra price. The food was not at all good. Its fine to stay over here for one night as we don't have any other option for stay.

It's a very nice place to see the sunset from the hill top. U will find a vegetable market and street food vendors near it. Good place to kill time.

First of all the name given to this place is wrong the Real name of the place is 'Guest House 2'. This is a place where visitors can stay here with fooding facility.
