First impression the building that the store sits on sets the perfect ambience for the wonderful and exquisite collection they have! We did couple visits to the store before selecting the saree and the staff was always super nice and helpful! They showed a variety of beautiful sarees, making it hard for us to choose. Can't wait to drape the saree I finally got and enjoy how beautiful it will look!!

Place for buying classy Kanjipuram silk sarees. They have both traditional and contemporary designs.we liked the customer service. Its pricey, but its worth for the quality they offer.

Cheating company for price and quality!!!! No accountability !!! This is an Expensive shop and claimed to be exclusive designs of Sarees, blouse materials etc. We bought 2 Sarees and 3 Blouse materials with very high prices. One of the blouse material was a Tussar silk with screen printing which was sold at an unimaginable price of Rs.7035/meter. There is NO plain woven and printed FABRIC in India can cost Rs.7000 / meter. but this shop sells it at an exorbitant price of 10 times of manufacturing cost without any accountability for quality and service. To everyone's surprise, this material is of substandard quality of printing which just runs out and spoiled the whole blouse in just one time use for few hours. Printing color has spread all over the blouse when wearing. When reported this to the shop, they were rude and said nothing can be done about it. When this shop is selling a product actually worth less than 1000 at a premium price of 7035/mtr, they should at least sell only with guaranteed quality. when reported they should replace the material . we just thrown at their shop and came back. They just did not bother about it. Shameless that they just passed by this incident. This shop has cheated me in selling a bad quality product. Please be careful in dealing with shop.... they are irresponsible and only safeguard their money and not customer's complaints. see the pictures of fresh and one time( 2 hrs) used blouse( Not washed)

I have been shopping from Kanakavalli since 2016 or so and it is definitely one of the best saree shops in Chennai. Their store has a beautiful ambience and excellent customer service. You can also order from their website. Quality is great because they sell only pure silk and pure zari sarees. Only downside is that the pricing is a bit hard to understand and there has been a surge / fluctuation in prices the last few years (for the same designs). If you are familiar with weaves and pricing & are looking for a luxury store, Kanakavalli should be on your list.

It is always a true delight to visit this store for its ambience. The authentic Kancheepuram Saris with unique classy colors and motifs are a visual treat. The jewelry are gorgeous and the finish, exquisite. It's obvious that the designer puts her whole heart and passion into all her creations.
