I prefer staying in such places instead of hotel. You get a homely feeling, yet there is no shortage of facilities. The USP of this place is the location - in the heart of city, yet with peaceful surroundings. The owner and caretaker are quite helpful. I'll choose this place for my next Chennai visit.

The property was in the Centre of the city, easily accessible from all roads nearby, rails as well..Inspite it's very silent. The locality was a decent family area, close to little mount St. Thomas church. Mr.Ramesh readily attends any concerns. They provide pure water, Free wifi, coffee/Tea whenever u need, though they have committed anything. The property is in the flash of CCTV cameras and safe. It's in one word, " affordable excellence"
Very much disappointed. Hospitality is just in the name but not in the way the treat us. No one is there to attend you while check- in. When contacted via mobile number for check-in & to inform about no attender & the Hotel gate was locked ,the owner said, "What should I do for that now, just wait sometime, the receptionist will come and open the door". No attached bathroom/ restroom was there. Common bathroom/ Restroom was there, which we had to share with the receptionist. The rooms are not tidy, had Cockroaches roaming in the rooms, behind curtains and under the bed. Worst part is they don't have UPS/Generator Power backup. They were not giving proper response while asking about the power cut and power back up.We suffered a lot in night with no current supply with our 2yrs old kid. And we left without any option to check-out in 1night while we have booked for 2nights stay. No refund was given for the 1night which we didn't stay. While asked to give me the check-out Bill, they hestitated to give and later said will send you in the morning via WhatsApp, which I had not received till date. Had such a worst hospitality service. I don't recommend anyone to book in this hotel
A very silent and calm neighbourhood, easily accessible to all the main areas in the city. Has very good public transport access (metro and bus terminal in walking distance). Owner has a very good knowledge on how to treat customer and making sure they are enjoying the property. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Will recommend it for people looking for rooms around that area.
We had a wonderful stay at the house. It's a huge bungalow in a quiet locality, just behind an iconic monument, the church of Our Lady of Health. The place is sanctified by St Thomas who meditated and preached from there from 68 to 72 AD. Our host offered us a much bigger room than what we booked at no extra cost. You have the whole house to stretch yourself. The Steward was very polite and helpful. I will recommend this place without any reservations.
