Kings Village - Bed & breakfast in Shirgaon, Terdi - Ratnagiri, India

Starting from the start. If you want a real bike adventure you can come here in rainy season bcoz of the horrible roads near the property, or else plz do not come here on bike, car is preferrable. In night there are too many flying insects in the property which irritates you on a next level. Bathroom is too small. Food service is good. You get a table pool and a water pool which is clean. There is no network in this area only wifi is available. Conclusion - if you want some relaxation from outside world, this property is perfect for you. Do not expect much from the photos shown on google.

The place is amazing, if u want some quiet from the city hustle. If u visit make sure u stay for atleast 3 to 4 days to enjoy what this place has to offer. The staff is excellent ,well trained and caring. I visited with my three furry pets. And the staff took an excellent care of us for the entire 4 days we were their. The place has a swimming pool and pool table, well equipped kitchen. The owner although abroad made sure he called everyday and enquired about us with the staff. Excellent place .

This place offers complete disconnect from the world. If you wan to opt for the getaway with personal space and experience the nature, this is the right place. Caretaker offers good hospitality and food too. Place is very well maintained and is highly recommended for family and friends outings. Location is exactly at the same place mentioned in map. There should not be any difficulty reaching this place. Road conditions are worse at some patches from NH 66 to this place.

This is a collector approved NA project , where builder & plot owners have build beautiful cottage/ bunglows for self and also lease out as BnB's. Place where we stayed is small cottage shown in the image. The property is well maintained , run with the help of local people which give them revenue. Kings village is kind of in the middle from Pune it's 3.5 hrs on bike , mumbai 4.5 hrs & Karad/ Satara 4.5 hrs. Even if the property is in Mandangad it gets cold at night and is bit humid during the day. Food is prepared & served in the main dinning area which is short walk away & can also be delivered in the house. Deserve 5 star for a great over all experience & also for cleanliness.

Initially we (7 of us including two children) planned to stay in Lonavla but a friend of mine suggested Kings Village. We reached there at around 9pm on 6th of June and we have got experience of lifetime. The place was full of fireflies and the view was so amazing that the children started dancing out of excitement. The caretaker Sandeep there was very courteous and served us delicious homemade Maharashtrian cuisine. The next day was full of joy with the amazing view of the flora and fauna and a relaxed family bath at the private pool. We left the place at around 4 pm gathering wonderful memories to cherish for rest of our life. You have a vision JP. Wishing you all the very best. Look forward to visit again soon.

Keep in mind it's not a villa, no AC, the roof is made of cement shades so heat is trapped in the room. Pool and food was amazing and it has a small snooker table. Only visit here in rainy or winters.
