The place is old , iconic and well known for its Parsi cuisine . We took the advice of a friend and visited as we were in the area . The food was really good .The chicken pulao was big in quantity and quality , with a lot of meat . The veg Dhansak was in fact a surprise , was wondering how someone could cook up a vegetarian Dhansak , but it was really flavourful and tasty.To end it all up sweet was Lagan nu custard which was excellent too . The boys who served were very attentive and polite . Overall it felt like a home cooked meal . Though the portion size could feed 2 moderate eaters , the price for main entre is 500++.

We read about King's Persian Bistro online some time back and decided to visit. The seating and ambience is very comfortable. Our seating was quiet and peaceful. We had Lagan nu patru which was a very different experience for me. We had both the veg and non veg versions. The non veg ones had fish and the veg ones had eggplants and kebabs. The food was very tasty and the experience was made even better with the accompaniment of Ardeshir's Soda. The service was quick and prompt and the staff was friendly and helped us throughout the whole culinary affair. We topped our meal off with Lagan nu Custard and Caramel Custard. I shall try and update here when I try other items from the menu.

Randomly found this place when i was in camp! It's probably a hidden gem in Pune where they serve super yummy food . If you're looking for authentic persian and parsi food then you must visit this place. I tried- Mutton Dhansak with kabab Chicken lollipop Lagan Nu custard Chicken Olevia Corriander Chicken soup The ambience is very pleasant and happening. They also have beers which are at affordable prices. Its a must visit place.

Our friends from Goa wanted to eat something unique and my hubby decided to visit Kings one more time to give them fabulous experience of authentic Parsi cuisine...n guess what the decision was right...my hubby said me tula sangitla..me mhatla hmmm.hmm So here comes the important thing what we had... We started with sodas, they have some unique choice of sodas..green apple, lime, ginger, raspberry..very refreshing when summer is catching up in Pune. Next on platter was Chicken Farcha- Crispy egg coated on outside and super succulent and juicy inside. Kheema pav - purrfect spices. ..next time will surely eat again Chicken Dhansak with kabab n steamed rice- the dhansak was nice, creamy, daalish as needed but next time I want to eat with mutton The highlight were small 4 kebabs given with it..I could have a plate full of these small bombs with the soda..drooling We wanted to try berry pulao..but our stomach were full.. My friend wanted to taste lagan nu custard but was not available (something for next time to look forward to) so had to satisfy our sweet tooth with caramel custard which was just as we make it at home...the right way is just take a spoonful keep it on your tongue, close your eyes and let it just dissolve..oooooh... Over all experience ended with full tummies but dil mange more...Kings we will soon come again to try some more varieties

I must say with all earnest this has the tastiest Mutton Dhansak ( devoured every morsel) after taking it home.. Brilliant down to the core.. I've not tasted other items on the menu but will do . Obliterate " DORABJEE'S " where Mutton Dhansak is concerned as it's bloody worthless.! It's about 550 quid aporox,the rice is cooked to perfection and the mutton tender..On 2 occasions whenever I've asked them to give me " good pieces of mutton",they have obliged..( Not so in Dorabjees,which by the way needs introspection..)..! Anyways, the decor is old yet inviting & homely.. Its easy on the pocket,portions are good,the Dhansak was decadent..! Affable staff..This shows that the owner takes interest into the prep of dishes being sold and you get your money's worth..!!! Being a Bandraite we are particular about good quality food at economical rates..Look no further if you want to entice your taste buds...

We regularly order catering service food from King's. We have ordered it on special and multiple occasions such as wedding functions, and today being my baby shower. The food is of absolutely top quality and the quantity is just promising. We have always ordered food for almost 30 people and the quantity of the food they provide is still left over for the next 3 days!! The quality is just the best and the taste is just immeasurable to any other catering service I can imagine in Pune! Definitely a must order: everything on their menu!!!

A fantastic experience! A lovely Cozy bristo serving some authentic parsi food. The food is great, the vibes are awesome and service is fantastic!
