King Krushnaprasad Palace, Chilika - Home Stay in Krushnaprasad - Khordha, India

I went two years ago in January 2021. Had an amazing experience there. The hospitality was so good. There were wide options of non vegetarian foods for lunch and dinner. The place is so peaceful its in between the chilika lake. The local people are also nice. Near the palace you will find a lot of sweet shops where you get tasty sweets. Special thanks to King Sj Santosh Deo and queen Aparajita singh deo who interacted so well with us. The queen narrated us the entire history about the palace, their family hierarchy, their achievements. Both the king and queen are so humble and arranged us all types of facilities during the stay. Also interacted with the kings family members, I felt really overwhelmed to see such hospitality by the royal family of Parikud. I would recommend all to visit this homestay and experience the stay in parikud.

Had a brilliant four day stay on the property..did some intense bird watching and photography. The young king and his wife Where extremely involved in our stay .food.( tasty and innovative) travel plans and planning day trips to must see locations. personalized effort..which is very much appreciated and made our stay super.thank you sir.. Orrissa is a beautifull state and chilka is iconic ..the palace is beautifull and locked in a time machine . All the best to you and your team

One of the beautiful palaces of Odisha is the palace of Parikud or the Krushnaprasad palace. It has been named after the man who discovered this place. It is a three storied palace. It is also open for organizing events and destination weddings. You need to contact the King Sj Santosh Deo.

Its a cool place ..full of water bodies beside the road leading to Krushnaprasadgada...can see foreign birds nesting inside Chilka n nearby bush jungle..try famous Matapulli..local sweet..its nice..good place for picnic..govt should expand tourist aminities for attract of visitors..

Situated at a distance of 175 Kms away from the capital city of Odisha, Bhubaneswar, Travelling time 3 hours. A magnifecient palace situated on an Island. This Place is know for its rich culture and Beautiful islands that will take your breath away.

Well maintained old king's palace. But now part of it is used for guests stay and part is maintained as Musium.

One of the oldest fort in odisha. Nice place.
