KIMS Multispeciality Hospital - Private hospital in Kottiyam - Kollam, India

Been here a 5-6 times for OP consultations, and once for IP for COVID-19 treatment. I'm satisfied with their service and care they provided to my partner and me especially during the COVID time. The photos are from our 5-days IP in January 2022.

First of all I would like to thank the Doctors and Staff of KIMS Hospital, Kottayam, for their cooperation and support provided by them, during our visit for a whole body medical checkup. The diagnosis by the Doctors is so accurate and they have a lot of patience to listen us and explain the things properly about our issues related ti illness. It's one of the best Multi-speciality Hospitals in India, ever we visited. No doubt, the facilities available here are really, really Superb. We opted for the Executive (full-body) health checkup at KIMS Kottiyam for my spouse and me. Regrettably, we were thoroughly dissatisfied due to inadequate time management. There was just one staff member handling both inpatients and outpatients for ECHO, ECG, and TMT. Additionally, an inexperienced staff member, whom I'm not blaming, caused us to wait for hours for the PFT test. This situation was unprofessional and highlighted poor organization and subpar quality of care. We genuinely feel that the value for the money we paid is lacking. If this is the level of service for an executive package, one can only wonder about the treatment regular patients receive.

Was having paediatric appointments at Kim's Kottiyam on 15 th August at 1.00 pm, but the doctor arrive to consulation room at 2.50 pm. Today have another appointment for paediatric neurology at 1.00 pm, still the same experience. So what is the point of taking appointment ?

Super bad management and patient relations. Making the system super complicated. From 3pm was waiting to get room and they asked to come by 7pm and waited in the lobby with pregnant wife for an hour and half for the room to be cleaned. Even after 8:30 it's not alloted and had to ask for refund and leave the hospital. Front desk is always crowded .. from billing, room allocation and payment everything they have to handle. And most time the printer doesn't work. They will be busy with repairing that. No where near to trivadrum kims apart from the similarity in name.. charging like high end hospitals and services worse than local clinics.

Very poor response, several times tried their number and no one picked. Tried for more than an hour on 24th night, no response. On 25th morning ringed from 7:30, picked the line on 8:50, got information that the required Doctor available till 9:30 only! My daughter lost one more class day just because of irresponsibility of your staff!!!

Good service i got from hospital.i am very happy, good support from admission to discharge...thankyou kims..
