Khyndailad Fountain - Fountain in Shillong - East Khasi Hills, India

This is the Centre Point of Shilong. You can find shopping mall, restaurants, street food and street market around here. Taxis are available here for going anywhere you want. Money exchange is also near the circle. This is the happening area from morning to midnight. Boro Bazar is the wholesale market which is 15 minutes walk from the centre point.

A very Crowded place and the heart of Shillong... Many hotels are located here. Taxis are available for local sightseeing and for Guwahati drop.... One can find many restaurants and snax shops like KFC Here....Shops open at 11 am till night... Many shops here sell local handicrafts.... But the reasonable I found is Khasi Emporium...

It's awesome place ..... everthing you'll get here ..... this place it's very crowded early in the morning till midnight people spending more time here because they are so many shopping Mall,hotel, bank,restuarant etc...... but not only that because it located at heart of city shillong ..... it's very cool place every one like this place....... I'm also spending lot of time here because their beauty of this place it never fade away..

This is the main chowk. Not aware about the place much. But yes this place seems to be awesome in night with lighting all around. Food streets crowded with people and colourful lights. Wonderful experience at this place. One can fall in love with the places around this main chowk.

Never noticed there was a fountain, it wasn't working I guess.
