The approach to the resort was very bad and I was kept waiting at Kempty Village for someone to take me to the resort as promised but Mr.Uday stopped picking up my call. Once at the resort the manager was very cooperative but there was no tea or milk available for the tea. The food was very delicious and very homely. The tents were claustrophobic and one had to crawl in. The place is meant for backpackers definitely not for families. The Owner kept promising us that he's coming but didn't turn up. We were booked for four nights but left just after one night. The service and the food is a big plus but the accomodation and the bathrooms a big negative. The food is expensive but considering the spread it's justified. The area and location is a plus but the accessibility is a big negative. The staff is friendly and helpful. Please refrain if you are traveling with your family and especially kids. Make sure you have a high ground clearance car to reach the place.
This experience was awesome . The Location is bit remote .. you should have a vehicle to commute or you can request the hotelier to help you commute .. The view from the tent location is amazing and very refreshing .. it's a good place for couples, family and friends .. The tents have some repairs and it is advisable to replace tents from the hotelier part (we had some issue because we had occasional rains otherwise no issues). Food is really costly .. It is advisable to put that into minimum. all together it's the best place you can choose.
we stayed for one night and had an excellent time. The property is located perfectly away from the hustle bustle. Its in the mountains so we are always in the clouds.we didn't need to step out of the property as there was enough to do.we traveled with out daughter and the, outdoor games kept her well occupied. we also did the pine forest trek,it was a great experience planned by the hotel. At to of the mountain they prepared maggi with wood sticks collected on the way.Truley a wonderful experience. The staff was one the best.Especially chef who added his personal touch to our meal everyday. They prepared pahadi food for us which was delicious.
This place is JANNAT for natural beauty lovers. It's a little off route but once you reach here it's worth it. Food is good. Service is good. The whole experience is quite different actually. Different than your regular vacation. In the morning chirping birds wake you up. You can't hear a single sound of horn in the whole day. The mountain air is so fresh and clean. Chatting with nearby villagers gives you a whole new perspective about life. There are fields right next to the resort where corn, spices & vegetables are being grown. Overall I'll give 10/10 to the resort.
Worst place I have ever seen in my life. Road connectivity is very dangerous almost at your life risk. Actually I can't say roads was there those were kachcha raasta for about 5-6 km. You can't go there on foot as it's a long distance and not by car as I said above. Very lonely place . There is no nearby shop or even human being near about 5-6 km. One cannot feel safe at night.very dirty tents were there. Not maintained at all. Too much garbage and smell was there. I went there with my family to see the tents but the feeling that I got was depressing and disgusting.
Been to many campsites. But many issues with this particular site. First of all road connectivity is not good as with other campsites, so u must have ur own vehicle as they are charging a whopping 1000 rs per day for an activa...! Second is meal, costly as its 300 per pax for buffet menu and very costly alacarte too. Third is washrooms are poorly maintained. Unnecessary charges like music system charges and all..! Good things are location is secluded and far frm crowd, eventhough nearer to kempty, bonfire activity and camps sleeping arrangements. Overall, the site can be improved a lot.
View from the resort is the best that can be. It is even better than cloud's end & Lal Tibba. Morning sunrise is bliss. Second best thing is the waterfall inside the resort. Food, cleanliness is also good. Thank God they have clean toilets.
We did party full night. Bonfire, music, drinks, dance, masti. Food was like home food. Waterfall tour & trekking was really out of the world experience. We took our beer along with us. The best thing about waterfall is that it is private not like Kempty fall. It belongs to the resort I think. The view from the resort is better than view from Lal Tibba / Gun hill / Cloud's end. It is that good. Toilets are shared which is okay but they were clean. Resort provides free soap, shampoo, towels, hot water, etc.
