Khunkut Dam is located near Pancholingeswar in Balasore district in Odisha. It is a most beautiful picnic spot also nature lover's scenic beauty....!

This dam is a beautiful place to visit in Panchalingeshwar. The dam is not too big but the nature around it is full of greeneey.

It's beautiful place. Blue water, birds sound r nice, natural air, very peaceful.

Nestled atop the hill, this place is very beautiful and serene. The Sun had almost set when we reached there, and gladly, no crowd was to be seen anywhere. The place was so silent that we did not want to leave it almost. But the only issue is that the road that leads to Khumkut Dam isn't a well-built one, and without following Google Maps, one might lose their way.

The dam is really good. It seems to be there is less water in the dam but it's not the actual case. The dam has its own history which is visible through the temple. Surrounded by beautiful and peaceful nature with local tribes. Nice place to visit.

Explored a hidden treasure. Surprised to know as a small Dam exists in the outskirts of Nilagiri area. Beauty of nature was awestruck and enjoyed some time with friends. Had a bike ride with my friends. Roads are little narrow for 2-3 km range as the road passes by some village area.

Khumkut dam project is only a a naming project only. It is a beautiful place to visit with family and picnic spot also. But if government devlop it , then it will be a great place to visit. Near villagers are fishing here to survive her family. A danse forest are here also. A goddess temple and a old fort are situated here since last hundreds year.
