Good view of Bangladesh plains from this site. Also visible is a giant hanging rock resembling a Shivling. A pair of streams of water in the form of a cascading waterfall is also worth a visit.
Nice place. In the backdrop you can see Bangladesh and we found an unnamed waterfall which was one of the beautiful waterfall I have seen in Shora.
Words are not enough. Its a good place for picnic with friends & family. It has a waterfall, a place to seat with eye catching views of hills, Bangladesh, a conical stone which is also known by the name of Shiv Ling by some. You can get there by the stairs which will also lead you to the bottom of the waterfall. It's a good place for taking pictures.
Wow, what a place it is, whole view of Bangladesh border is seen from this place. And the story, it's amazing. To be frank places is Meghalaya is LIT. Road to this area is fine. This place has its own water fall , ample of sitting place. When you are coming here, must add this place. When you come to this place, you should know the story of this place.
Beside the giant conical rock ( shiv linga), the view of the place is mind-blowing... Enjoy the mountain surrounded waterfall from top... Huge greenary... Awesome place ..
It is a very good place. The scenic view of Bangladesh from here is pleasant. Well maintained by meghalaya Govt. stairs are there to reach the giant rock and to the fail on the right side.
The place is just beyond words to describe...the waterfalls that drop from this place are long and drops down many hundred feet below to a valley covered with forest and a winding road ... However the beauty of the place lies with the Khoh Ramhah which in English means cone of a giant .... This stone which is in the shape of a cone which looks like its just been kept by the cliff side by someone is actually belivedto be the cone which a giant used to carry..but was eventually turned into stone after's the giant death.. Legend has this that the gaint used to disturb the people of the region and one day a lady gave the gaint some food mixed with sharp objects. The giant ate the food and started to develop pain and he sat down by this cliff side and rested there and died leaving behind his cone as a legacy of his life.. The scenic beauty from here is just an awe sticking one...the deep cliff below the vast plains of Bangladesh which seems to never end. And the scenic scenes of clouds hanging in the horizon ..just makes you really wonder nature and its magic and gifts.....the surrounding of the plave is well maintained and the place is ideal for a anyone..family.. couple ..group..friends The parking here is only rs 20... It has two waterfalls dropping down the gorge below from this place...
Beautiful place and amazing view.. You can stand at the top of the waterfalls.. you can also see Bangladesh from here..
