It's a shiva temple. It is believed that every night ashwathdhama comes here and worship lord here. Legend says that every morning when the gates of main temple are opened , one can see flowers on God's idol. Temple is old and a good place to devote some time to God.
Beautiful historically auspicious temple of lord Shiva. But don't rely on Google maps it was so confusing that we lost our actual route. Finally locals helped us to reach the temple. It was a good experience worshipping lord Shiva at Khereswar on Sawan days
One of the oldest temples of Shiv ji. There is also a beautiful and much older temple at the ghat(Sarraya ghat) just 2-3 km further on the banks of river Ganga.
Very old , religious temple of lord Shiva.
This is temple of Lord shiva present on bank of river Ganga in shivrajpur, nearly 40 kilometres away from kanpur central railway station. Private means of convenience is suggested as local transport service is not available there.
