Oasis in the middle of all the hustle & bustle of the old city of Jaipur. Tastefully done property, great views of Nahargarh fort from the rooftop. Run by a lovely couple, husband is a retired, decorated Army officer with loads of stories to regale you.
Khatu Haveli is a lovely place to stay, in a busy area, but very peaceful and calm once you're in the property. There is an old vibe and nice feel to things, a rooftop where you can enjoy conversations, the view of the fort behind you and otherwise just a good spot to observe daily life in Jaipur. We enjoyed both breakfast and dinner cooked with much care and love, tasty food that's typically home cooked. We were very comfortable and would love to stay here again. Many thanks to the owners as well as the staff who were all very kind and worked hard to make sure we enjoyed our stay.
Amazing place if you want to stay in Jaipur. The rooms are clean and very well decorated. The staff will help you with everything from organising trips, taxis, laundry, places to go. The food is just the best we had in India, for a great price. They also have a terrace with a great view. I will totally go back.
It was an ancient haveli that is turned into a hotel now. The service was great there and the breakfast was like homemade food. The rooms were not like other hotel rooms, they were spacious with a big bathroom and very comfortable. Nahargarh fort was visible from the terrace and it is the best place I saw. I enjoyed my stay there.
Khatu Haveli is perfect oasis of tranquility in the middle of chaos of old Jaipur city. It's remarkably quiet and peaceful once you cross the gate of the property, and time details of 100+ years old property are meticulously preserved, so you can feel like you time traveled in the time of royalty. The hosts made sure that all comforts were taken care off, including excursion around town, shopping trips and sight seeing. We traveled as large multicultural family and can vouch that this place is perfect for such gatherings: there are different types of rooms for everybody (young to old) and rooftop restaurant/bar that's serves delicious homemade food catered to everybody's taste.
