Very calm and aesthetically pleasing atmosphere, nice place to hangout with friends. Just wish there were more sitting arrangements and essential shops.

I absolutely love this place here. Sunset from here is just splendid! Serene! This is such a quite peaceful place. Absolutely beautiful. If you are in the area for just a day you should totally check out this place in evening. When I visited this place in scorching heat of Kolkata, I guess this was the only not so hot place. Absolutely loved this ganga ghat. We took ferry to go to other side. Sreerampur I guess was the place.

Khub Sundar neat & clean.it's atmosphere is very cool & well. Risra ferry ghat to khardah ferry fare is only seven rupees. Journey is still good ras moncher melatao khub Sundar hoeche.

A ferry ghat in a auspicious location. Should be a tourist destination on a important communication route from Rishra, Hooghly district to Khardaha. A nice park just beside the ferry ghat and a large playground. '26 Shiva Temple' is also nearby. Well connected with Khardaha Railway station by Toto(electric vehicle)

This ferry is maintained by Khardah and Rishra Municipality. On this date, it takes 7 rupees for one person to cross the river one time. If you are carrying big luggage or any package, pets, cycle, bike, you have to pay extra. However, if you are a daily passenger you can buy a monthly as well. Sadly, many times the ferry comes to a halt during low tide because of sedimentation. Please check the time for low tide. In case you face such a situation, the other option can be nearby Lakhmighat.

Gathered, bitter experience to cross the river from Rishra ferry ghat like previous years. No improvement has been noticed here. Passengers will get down from the boat in the river and walk by foot through the ganges water.

The place is good for spending time but not so attractive for whom likes clean environment

Yesterday in SUNDAY evening when we reach there from Rishra Ghat , There was LOW TIDE situation and our boat stopped too far from the JETTY (bank) in mid river coz water level was so low ..... And we just shoked with the happiness when we saw that lots of peoples are enjoying their pleasant evening in the muddy bank side. This happens only in kharda side in low tide condition and not happens in our Rishra side. And we enjoyed lot took lots of photos and makes videos. After spending approx 40 minutes we came out toward that Ghat. There are bathrooms but unusable coz they always locked. Icecream (kulfy) was tastey we eat Rs 15/20pc on the jetty. Paani-puri (5pc for Rs10 ) is too good u can taste when u come out from the ghaat. There is more options if momo and tea. Then we visited to SHYAM MANDIR of RADHA-KRISHNA. Walking distance is 8 minuts. Near by sweet shop is good and we eat singhara (Rs5) and some sweets. There
