Khangsar Villa - Hotel in Gangtok - East District, India

The rooms could have been better. To be honest, the rooms were not in a good condition when we came here in December. There's no Wi-Fi, but Jio network is good. Rooms are spacious and have TV. Hot water is available 24/7. Intercom wasn't working when I was there. This hotel is owned by a family and they stay there itself. I am not sure what was the room price because we booked it through tour operator. There's no proper room service here, as they don't have any staff. But they make sure you don't face any problem while staying here. They're very soft spoken and always on their feet. I'm a vegetarian so my review is going to be centred around this. I found the food to be hugely disappointing. They don't have much options & you simply have to accept whatever they offer from their list. On the other hand, I totally enjoyed Aaloo Paratha in the breakfast. I also enjoyed their tea and coffee. It's location is not quite appealing. The hotel is situated a bit away from the main road & isn't visible clearly from afar. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is that the owners are genuinely nice people and they took a very good care of us.

It's just a place to waste the money..They talk like so sweet that we cannot say anything to them..food quality. Waste of money no service no staff nothing and the owner change the language when we check out the hotel saying if you will not give money we will stop your way to go out of the area food no taste nthg so my suggestion is to don't go 3rdclass service

I stayed their for one night during my bike trip from Kolkata to Gangtok. Room are bit costlier, but it was worth spending. Facilities in room are very good. Hosts are very welcoming. We visited during Dussehra, so their cook was on leave. But still they have provided us breakfast and tea on our request. So, if I have to rate this hotel I will rate it 5 out of 5 except food(as cook was on leave).

We stayed here for two nights. Tasty homemade food was served. Comfortable and safe..we two girls were stayed, we were very comfortable. Price was little high compared to others others. Located in prime place, Mg market was nearby.

Great place to stay with family. Clean and well ventilated rooms with stellar views! The kitchen churns out home like delicious food! The place fits well within the moderate price category and is a personal recommendation.

No proper way to go inside the hotel. Staff is careless to what is happening to guests ... Food is good ... Rooms are big ... Location wise nice walkable distance to city centre (MG Road). Overall a bad experience ...

Please do not visit this hotel. And don't go with name. Disgusting room, no toiletries, no staff only reception boy do the all job like, bell boy, cook, room service, receptionist etc! Yes, i have a problem if i don't get a perfect service. You have seen my rating for radison, didn't you see my 4 star rating for Taj Chandigarh? Come on man, take the feedback professionally and work on it. That's it! Why are you worrying for just one rating. People have different choices.. It's just that i really dint like your service Spl. The sound swage behind your hotel, whenever we open our window, there is a sound of sewage. Also, your towels were too bad. And your mattress were broken. Just a suggestion, you should remove "villa" your property doesn't look like a villa.

Its near to MG marg about 1.5 kms and very decent hotel and very budget its really worth for money and Good home made food i appreciate mr.jagdesh the host is such an awesome person who jeen to make his Guests comfortable and quite kknowledge person who knows in and around the tourain od Gagtok if anyone need person to travel Northeast and Darjeeling who can contact him directly he ill take care of your complete itinerary with in your Budget and youe will feel free to contact him ..
