Amazing place to visit. You can even do trekking out there. There are so many outstanding waterfalls. If you want to enjoy the nature and peace, you must go at early morning. You'll find more crowd and traffic after 10.00AM.
If you like to visit new places in monsoon then this place is not going to disappoint you at all... best view... many waterfalls on the way.. Leave early to avoid crowd on weekends...
Get your bike, fill in some fuel and just ride to this beautiful point. Pune is blessed with such outskirts that can feel like heaven on earth. Just 2 hrs away from the city and this point serves you peace just as you deserve. . PS: Be careful since the point has no railing. Travel responsibly, and do not litter.
Amazing one day ride from Pune. The road is narrow and broken but full of waterfalls all along the way. Not much of options for food except a newly opened restaurant adjoining a small waterfall. If visiting with family and kids, carry enough water and snacks
Beautiful Waterfall! It was isolated and definitely one of the must visit waterfalls. This waterfall is behind the Khandi Point. While you travel towards khandi, this will come in between the way left side where waterfall is written and a trek of 10 mins is there.
I went to Khandi Point from Mumbai on 11 Aug which was The Friday. It took me nearly 4 hours of bike ride from Mulund in Mumbai with minor stops on the way. It rained only in the Lonavla ghat section and it was mostly dry for rest of the route. After I exited the highway at Kanhe Naka, road was narrow and had occasional pot holes, loose mud and was totally deserted except at the Jagtap falls which is access controlled but it was mostly safe for a bike ride. Best part was the ride in the lush green mountains with great views. I could see several water falls on the mountains from the road side and it was lovely. There were no hotels after Kanhe Naka even for tea and snacks. Good that I had carried my own snacks and drinking water. Due to the long time required to reach, this scenic place is more suitable to Punekars as a week end drive. Mumbaikars must plan overnight stay in Lonavla.
Beautiful place to visit in the rainy season as it has breathtaking views, en route you can see multiple waterfalls. The road is narrow over here you have to drive carefully on this road. Best route for bikers.
The view would have been great if the point/area was larger. It's secluded and still not explored by many so will be quiter with decent crowd. Little overhyped. If you have been to mahabaleshwar's table point etc. then you may skip it. Good for first timers, not so much for regulars.
