River rafting was great but if you are going for river rafting make sure u have 3 enough hours because they don't start until everyone from slot come. Some things that they don't tell and help desk person is very rude 1. If u have your own car u can go and join directly from point 2. They entered woman with age 56 though age limit was 55 3. They don't have shower room but they have changing room 4. Don't book any other activity in next 3 hours 5. Buy advance tickets 6. They have pick up and drop service 7. They take 1000 rupees per boat for photos and videos

This attraction at the statue of unity is just jaw dropping! It's a must in your itinerary. I would highly recommend this attraction over others if you are a family with all adult members or a couple or even a group of friends! Just remember this is not for kids. The river rafting is beginner friendly, the first rapid would be scary for people who are doing it for the first time but it sets the course for fun that you're going to have in the next 25-30 minutes. The guides are skilled they take all the people in one entire batch with approximately 5-6 rafts having 6-8 people per raft, highly recommend booking your slot in advance. First of all you need to arrive at the registration desk 30 mins before, you will need to board the bus and tell them you're going for river rafting they will drop you accordingly near shrestha Bharat bhavan and you need to then fill your form and change your clothes and get ready for fun! Soon when your time is about to come they will call you and you need to go in their car which will take you to the starting point of the rafting. Once you reach you'll be briefed about the commands and instructions that you need to follow throughout. Then you get your safety gears on mainly life jacket and helmet then you'll practice the 5 main commands with your guide and with the paddle of course! Then once the guide feels the group is ready you board your raft and you're ready to go! Then finally! The moment of truth, you're set for a thrilling adventure in between the rapids, this experience cannot be expressed in words! Sadly nothing lasts forever and this experience also will come to an end but not to worry the skilled guide of yours will have a gopro camera attached to their helmet who will be recording everything from the very start the footage of which you can collect it from them they do charge a fee for the same. We got our video and photos from them and trust me you don't wanna miss out on the fun you had and cherish the memories you made and keep it forever with you!

Rafting charge : 1000 per head. Booking online on soutickets website For videos & photos : additional 1000 for entire raft. You can divide. Enough safety precautions. One rescue raft also travels with 6-7 rafts. Even if you know swimming,it's not safe to swim. So no need to worry if you don't know swimming ! Experience : worth trying. Maximum rapids in first half of distance. 4.5 km in around 40-50 min. Grade 3 river rapids. Surrounding areas are in pure natural form without any human touch. During rafting you'll forget every worries. For age 15-55. Closed on Monday. It's advisable not to do if you have any medical issues including arthritis.

Khalwani river rafting place which is inside the Sardar (sarovar Narmada dam site) statue of Unity complex is surrounded by excellent natural beauty. Since we visited late in the evening we could not witness the rafting sport. Nice place.

A must-experience activity. Hard to believe this sport is available in Gujarat. Many congratulations and thanks to the administration of SOU for curating this experience at Kevadia. Not to be missed. The age limit is 14-55 years. You should not be suffering from any heart disease or related ailment.

My Self and my family had a great day at khalwani, the team was wonderful, they give their best to the people out there and The guys are very relaxed and fun but very professional at the same time, you will be safe. My mum fell off while rafting, the team rescued my mum and made her feel better.

One of the must do activity Statue Of Unity complex, which is river rafting at Khalwani river rafting and eco tourism zone. Place is ideal to have an adventure and experience nature at its best. Its recommended to book ticket in advance as there are limited slots available. Price of ticket is Rs 1000 per person.

Amazing experience. Team is so much experienced and supportive. Rafting difficulty level is 3.5 out of 6 which is similar to haridwar. Total distance cover through river: 4.5km One may easily plan statue of unity, rafting and jungle safari in single day. It would cost 10k+ if u plan for rafting in haridwar. Here its very cheap, available only for 1000rs/person and will take only 2 to 3 hrs.
