Nature at its best. We found it breathtakingly beautiful. It was a fulfillment of a long cherished desire when I recently visited this place along with my wife and friends. No words can describe the serene beauty of this place. A walk around this serene, tranquil place was a wonderful experience. Would love to visit again.

A picture perfect landscape created with a green garden surrounded by palm trees. Time well spent with games and indulging into local dishes of Maggie and cut fruits. It was an escape into nature's embrace and enhancing retreat. Must visit place during Himachal Pradesh tour.

Best Place to Visit nearby Dallhaousie. A Peaceful beautiful place in the lap of nature. You can enjoy Pony Riding, Gol Gappe, Kulche Chole and so on. Free car parking is available there. You can carry along lunch or edibles there for family joy or picnic. Best ever place for children to enjoy Flying dishes, Small football etc Beautiful scenery to click pics.

Khajjiar, India's Mini Switzerland. I had heard about this place a lot , stating this place is a replacement for Switzerland in India. Today when I visited this place i became a fan . What an amazing view, people visiting this place carry a lot many memories close to their heart. Lovely picturesque place, a pocket friendly place for those who want a quick outing and certainly replacement of foreign tours. Ideal for family trips as well as a favourite location of newly weds. You get piping hot food, variety of snacks to satisfy the tounge of all the age groups. Food is a little expensive but if you want enjoy your favourite food with a mesmerizing view of Mini Switzerland everything is fine. Smile Ample parking is available so don't worry if you are commuting by your own car. If you enjoy horse riding this is an apt place for you. A few adventure activities are also available. Nearby 140 photographers are present at this place to capture your memories. I would recommend everyone to get clicked a few pictures from these professional photographers. They provide you all the pics in soft copy form that makes sense. Certainly a must visit place.

Mini Switzerland is an amazing open ground area for tourists and explorers and picnic planners. This open ground has it all! It is called mini Switzerland and it is not very cold during summers but gets quite cold in winters. I visited it in this summer and it was quite cool but not as windy. I wouldn't recommend carrying a jacket to this place during summers. I recommend to carry an umbrella just in case of rain. The ground has up and down terrain but is quite manageable. The whole area is open and bordered with a walking/jogging track and a fence. There is ample of seating space on benches which are situated near the footpath surrounding the ground. There is a food court area at the entrance where there is washroom but beyond that there is no washroom in the ground. While exploring the ground area, please CHECK the grass you walk on before stepping. There is muddy and marshy wet grass regions there which you do not want to step on as they sink you in and your shoes become extremely muddy even filled with the dirt water. There is also many activities there such as paragliding and bubble rolling. You can carry your own equipment for sports as well to enjoy. There is also horse riding which is outside the ground fence but worth the price. You can bargain to some extent for the price as well. Average cost for horse riding the entire play ground should be around Rs500 to Rs1000. They all charge more for tourists from other countries but it is definitely worth trying to bargain a bit. If you have a pet, you should definitely bring them to this open ground to have fun and mix around. This is an amazing ground for photography and making memories. I recommend visiting this place in summers like I did this time because during winters it gets too cold (speaking from last years experience about winter).

KHAJJIAR in the black forest with a lake at the centre surrounded by green meadows is worth visiting if coming to Dalhousie. Stay here will be more enjoyable.

What an incredible place, just wow!! I could spend my entire day sitting there, experiencing so much peace. Again, wowwwww. The serene atmosphere and tranquility make it a perfect spot to relax and appreciate the beauty around.

It is called as Mini Switzerland in India. Very good scenic view, with vast open ground surrounded by lush green pine trees. The lake has fish waiting for the people to feed them. Horse riding available, and other sports activities like balls ride etc.
