Beautiful Lake needs to be maintained well. Either i noticed that water level is getting increased year by year. It will really disastrous in future. Gods are saving us always but it will happen sometimes if don't improve us.

Best time to come Its peak season time is september to January. But December is the best time to come and enjoy snowfall. Snowfall generally ranges from 1 ft to 5 ft as per the locals Hotels Only few hotels are there in khajjiar near this location. If you are not getting hotels there then you can go to stone homestay or Apple garden homestay 500 mtrs fromKhajjiar and approx 1 to 3 kms you will find affordable good hotels. Parking There is enough place to park your vehicle. Just remember one thing, space is less there so please park your vehicle off the road to prevent any sort of traffic jams. Food Lots of stalls available with Affordable and great taste. Serves maggi, omelette, pakodi, tea, chow mein and many other options. NOTE i Please do not litter bottles aur wrappers. Its heaven for a reason. Enjoy and let this place garbage free.
Its a picturesque location in the middle of Khajjiar lush green lawns. You can spend an easy 3-4 hours or maybe more here, gazing at the beauty of this place. Its a vast expanse of green, (white during winters), with some street food vendors here and there. A picnic spot amidst a vast expanse of greens. The lake in between is small. You can ask a photographer who roams around, to click and deliver instant prints of them. The street food is delicious and you can relish them while just relaxing and wandering around. During season, it becomes a thing to find a parking spot. You can drive all the way down to the valley where there is a gate mentioning the place as "Mini Switzerland of India". Its a better access to the landscape and little less crowded.

My advice would be to stay in Dalhousie than in Khajjiar. It's very quiet at night and not safe for drivers in case they choose to sleep in car parked outside given hotel's dormitory in not in good shape for them to use. Even you will feel lonely if
