Beautiful place but you'll question why so much litter around the cliff. Park your vehicle on the opposite side of the stalls. It's a drinking water dam and people used to go for a swim. Now they can't due to the fine.

Khadakwasla dam chowpati is quite busy place. It's very rare you will get some free space and you can enjoy your food. Yes but it is good go for a quick stop and eat and get a deep fresh breathe

Good place to have a peaceful time but it gets too crowded. There are so many people coming to see the sunset. Avoid going on weekends. The views are stunning. Lots of roadside stalls for eating. Couldn't spend a long time as it was overcrowded. Parking can be a problem. One of the best features of Khadakwasla Dam is its sunset view. The sunset is especially beautiful during the monsoon season when the sky is cloudy and the lake is full. Many people visit the dam in the evening to witness this amazing phenomenon. try to plan visit on week days.

Dam / Lake is open for all without tickets. It's much better than what it was a decade ago however still needs to be kept clean. Many Street food vendors selling snacks and tea at high rate without worst quality and hygiene. Visit there to sit and enjoy the view. Eat and drink roasted corn and bottled water. Everything else is tempting but better to avoid.

Best place to visit with family and friends. There are many stalls of food to eat & alongside places to sit. Can visit on weekends or weekdays too. Due to the weekend there might be a lot of crowds around the place. So if anyone wants to visit when the crowd is less, it is recommended to visit during weekdays. It is recommended to visit after 3 pm onwards as it gives a good view in the evening & can enjoy the view for a long period of time until the sun sets or 4:30pm onwards. It is required to check the notices & restrictions before entering the water as sometimes it is restricted to enter water due to some reasons.

I had the pleasure of trying Maggie and tea at this place, and it was absolutely fantastic! The Maggie was perfectly cooked, and the tea was delightful. I highly recommend it for a quick and tasty treat.
