Kettuvallam Restaurant - Seafood restaurant in Kakkanad - Ernakulam, India

Over hyped restaurant but the taste, quality and quantity is below average. The prices are on the higher side. Ordered squid/koonthal fry it is complete disaster. It is oil fried and it is rubbery. Soup was a joke and strong foul smell. The one good thing is their service. There are other good restaurant's in the same area so you can skip this and look for other good eateries

First visit to a seemingly inviting sea food restaurant aptly named as Kettuvallam, located by the side of the busy Seaport-Airport road. Parking was not a pleasant experience; but the bridge from the main road took us straight into the Restaurant which was good. Contrary to our expectation, the place was not busy and we had ample choices for seating. It was disappointing to note that some of the items published on the menu was not available for one reason or other. Ended up as an average outing.

Delicious especially Avoli and Squid Roast. Ghee Rice and Tea has Enough quantities. Chapati was soft. Nice atmosphere also

Very expensive restaurant serving below average food. I tried meals and Karimeen fry. Karimeen fry was okey but the meals was below average...not recommended.

Nice restaurant, food quality is good. Quantity is also very good. Rates are reasonable. Car parking is available. Specious restaurant where you can go with family. Staff members are also very good. Overall good experience. I can recommend this restaurant.

The ambiance is beautiful and and true to the vernacular architecture of Kerala....... Well furnished interiors........ It's a quiet place with amazing food that reminds one of home.... The staff are very courteous and overall it's a pretty good experience...... rate of food is just high...

Food was Ok, but the Air-conditioning was so poor. We guys were sweating while having food. The staff told the AC was at it's max. I've never had such an experience. We went there in the evening. Thank God we didn't go in the afternoon. Totally below average experience.

3 Stars for the service but 5 stars for the taste. Zomato Gold don't work here the way it's on offer. The management have a different rule of the their own which makes no sense out of it. Slightly disappointing but in all good spirit I can understand the situation. Had Seafood Soup which was a appetising stunner! Then came the Mix fried rice and szechwan chilly chicken , with Porotta and Prawns chilly. Seafood was perfect on offer. The ambience was a dark theme with peace and quality crowd accompanying at the peak hours for the banana lunch. Highly recommended.
