One of the best beaches in Malappuram. This beach is located in Malappuram district , parappanangadi., It situated in parappanangadi thirur road, a nice place to visit with friends and family, the authorities could have kept it more clean and neet, also the visitors should take care not to disrupt it's natural beauty and cleanliness

Nice spot for sunset and evening hangouts. a lot of people from different places come here to enjoy a nice delight everyday. the beach is vast and long. there are children play grounds and a children park associated to the beach. the bridge over the sea really makes it best place to spend time. the place where river meets the sea is also a favourite fishing spot too. the view from bridge to the sea is just fantastic and amazing

Superb place to hangout with friends and family. You can go from kottakkal to kakkad then there to thirurangadi, chemmad and parappanangadi. There are two beaches in parappanangadi and you can visit both. One is short but you can watch sun set over from rocks built as barriers (walls) from waves and tsunami. It is a crowded place and one of the major tourist attracions in malappuram. Place is extremely hot during summer. But it is good during winter and summer between 3 pm to 6 pm. You can go along with your friends and it will be a memorable day to remember. There are small shops to buy snacks around and not much hotels around them. You have to get to town for hotels. But the locals will help you get food. They even asked me to have food from there home and I refused which I regret now. It would have been a great experince to have food with them. To know more about the place, culture life style... and more. If we go early in the morning yoi can watch the fishermen going into sea on their small boats and later at 5 pm they caome back with fishes. And it will be a great and beautiful thing to watch before yoy die. You can also watch a river joining the sea and it is a wonderful sight. The place is amazing. You will get train from thrissur to parappanangadi and from kozhikode to parappanangadi. It is just a short distance from parappanagadi to the beach around 3 km. Careful during these days when corona is spreading. Careful, be safe, be secure stay relaxed and chilled enjoy your journey and put a likebon the review and be happy.
I have been going to this beach for almost 10-15years now. It was a quiet and unknown place to public before....but it's open and developed for public use with children's park and food courts...on special occasions it will be crowded but normal days it will be free...but it's always advisable for girls or women to go there accompanying adult males or senior people. Tahnk you and enjoy the spot..
That is less crowded beach and easily reachable from coimbatore.sometimes few drinkers are spotted near by beach. Frequently Jeep service available to parapangadi railway station at cost of just Rs10.must aware of auto scammers. There is no nearest food stalls.
