Nice place to visit on weekends for a short break or just to refresh your mind. The view's great and refreshing. There are fishes in the damn, you're openly allowed to catch them if you want to.
It's a good place if you like to have a small day out but I won't suggest anything more. It is not properly maintained and a request form whomsoever is going to visit please don't throw your trash everywhere.
Nice place to hangout with friends and family Here you can find: - dam - scenic view (specially for nature lovers) - resort / restaurant ( MPT kerwa resort) - entrance charge is 20rs including parking
Kerwa Dam better known as KD to local bhopalies, through google maps you can easily get here, there is no perfect time to visit this place in summer when the water level is very low you can come and sit here for hours just watching the small waves coming and going, the wind moves so fast you can almost feel like you are flying, during rainy season what can I tell the cold breeze is just breath taking. Also beware of the crocodiles and don't go too near to the water. Gave one star less because there is no proper cleaning, so much of wastage here and there. People should not litter and blame the government later, for not cleaning its our duty to keep our environment clean and safe. if you have an empty bottle or chips packet just carry it back until you find a dustbin, it's that simple, people just get rid of it right away not caring.
One of the best scenic views to gaze at nature and the creators. If you are a tourist try to visit this place anyway. It will not take more than an hour to reach the middle of the city. You will feel the breeze of the fresh air and the rejuvenation through the hush and bush life.
Fantastic place to spend some time with the nature. Don't miss to visit Kerwa Jungle Resort. The ticket cost is nominal. However, there are monkeys in this area and they try to snatch things. There are less people in the morning and afternoon, but by evening many more arrive.
It's very good experience, in monsoon season, environment is very good.
On a sunny day, the Kerwa Dam is the perfect spot to unwind and relax as you go boating, bird-watch or simply have a small picnic in the lush greenery all around. The nearby Jungle camp is a favorite family spot where you can feel closer to nature a
