The Keralam Museum, located opposite the Napier Museum, holds artifacts from the Mesolithic and Neolithic periods onward. It displays stone axes, statues of deities from early centuries, recreated old Kerala houses, etc. The entry fee for adults is only Rs20. Although it has a limited number of artifacts, anyone interested in history can still enjoy visiting it.

Love the ambience of this place. It have somany replicas of cave paintings, mural arts,... It shows the history of Kerala from Stone age to modern era. The touch enabled interactive machines were good but not everyone was working. It is not crowded. Infact when I went there on a thursday, I was the only visitor. It is worth a visit at just rs.20(for Indians) per person.
A very well maintained Museum at the heart of the city. This place includes the historical sculptures, old and preserved utensils, musical instruments and a lot more. There is ample ventilation inside the museum, and the architecture of the museum speaks for itself. The curator is very friendly and offers help without hesitation. He provided me with maps, brochures and the tourist book.
