Kerala Food Court - Breakfast restaurant in Chelamattom, Chelamattom part - Ernakulam, India

This place in Okkal is the best to grab breakfast, lunch and dinner if you are on the way to Kottayam from Angamaly side. The place is easy to spot and has a massive seating capacity and adequate parking space. Great food at low cost. Prompt and courteous service. The staff's were very polite. The place is neat and clean, well maintained and the food is reasonably budget friendly food. Clean restrooms were another highlight. The place has ample space for parking your car. Delightful with my experience. Accidental stop on the way and the made a repeat visit.

Ample space for parking. Food is good, however I couldn't enjoy it because of the pathetic servers and their attitude. I have ordered food and juices and specifically told the server to bring the juice first as I was so thirsty and tired. The restaurant was busy, hence reminded him 3-4 times but nothing happened. After waiting for so long we received our food and of no choice I had to drink water. Finished eating food and I asked him again for juice and the server replied - "Sorry No juice available". I asked him Why don't you inform me of this before, he said nothing. So I went out to another juice shop nearby which was really good. I complained to the lady at the billing counter about the whole incident, but she was also taking it very casually. Then I got really upset and raised my voice and suddenly we all received the juices which were ordered.

The food was good. But they didn't have a proper menu or anything. They just verbally told us what food they had. The atmosphere wasn't very good too. It felt like a warehouse that was being packed. They had table service and gave the food very fast. But they can improve a lot. Also, a lot of their food had non veg in it like their porotta had egg etc.But it is a great place to try the traditional food of Kerala.

The dining experience at Kerala Food Court left me with mixed impressions. While the porotta stood out for its quality, the curry disappointed with excessive oil and an overpowering masala flavor. The service, however, was a silver lining, marked by friendliness and efficiency. Ample parking was a convenient perk. In my assessment, the overall experience falls into the realm of average.

The food is decent, nothing fancy. It's simple and satisfying. The service was good and fast. As for seating, family space and common areas are available, and as an add this place has ample parking space and neat restrooms..

Yesterday we ate dinner 2 ghee rice and biriyaani. Ohhh my god I have never eaten like this waste food before. I never recommend this place for others. No tasty. And very costly. Very bad taste. They have no idea how to make biriyaani. And ghee rice.

We were 6 Adults & 5 kids. We have ordered following items Ghee roast - Good Tea and Coffee - Good Masala Dosa - Average Chocolates, Toffees and some desserts available at cash counter. The Parking space was fine. Wide Dining space is there that's fine. Toilet / Washroom is clean. Recommended to try
