This was one of the best places I have stayed outside my house. The location, the muddy road, the traditional Kerala house, the ambience, and the village - everything have brought back childhood memories of my village and my ancestral home which no longer exists. The village itself is very scenic and gives you the feel good essence. The host was also excellent and helpful in every aspect. One will feel they are back home while staying here.

Usually we conduct our get together at any hotels of Payyanur. This time we choose this place for a change. It was a great decision. The place is simply superb. The traditional home itself giving a good vibe. Beautiful nature and very quiet and calm place. Their service was very good. Budget friendly also.

Hi it was unplanned stay so just found this place on Google search and tried this place. It was a wonderful and nice stay, my son was pampered by Murali uncle just like my father so much as we checked out my son asked me why is uncle not coming with us. It's really a nice to see such a caring and humble owner's now a days thanks for everything Murali uncle. The food served was simply amazing just like mom's typical recipe from God's own country Hoping for visit again

A great place of choice to stay if you are coming with a group of friends or with a family for a relaxed vacation. I believe it's the aura of the place itself that makes you be calm and peaceful and enjoy the serene nature. The hospitality you recieve here just makes you feel more grounded to their local vibe and start to enjoy all the beautiful things that the place has to offer.

This 150 year old traditional homestay was the best homestay I have been to. For anyone who want to experience traditional kerala house in its true essence, this is the place to be. It reminded me of my ancestoral home. The owner is extremely helpful and cater to all our needs. They offer home made tasty traditional food and also tailor make food according to your requirements. The house is well maintained and decorated with traditional artefacts and plants. The place is located in the midst of natural beauty and cultural richness. I would recommend everyone to check out this place atleast once in their life.

Experienced the most beautiful homestay in the midst of nature in god's own country.... Beautifully nestled in the green country side of Kozhumal, Peralam of Kannur district. Amazing home cooked food in native Malabar Kerala style... The taste was delicious and satisfying for both vegetarian and non vegetarian people. The elements of design of the house and garden left me in awe and wonder every moment. The host and owner of the property, Murali Cheta is just cool and amazing and very good at hospitality. I loved every Moment of my life at kenoth thaliyil mana.. Cheers.
