About KV NTPC Farakka, Kolkata With the objective of meeting the educational needs of the children of defence personnel and transferable central government employees. Kendriya Vidyalayas were established in 1963 under the aegis of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan ,an autonomous body under the ministry of HRD ,Government of INDIA . Kendriya Vidyalaya ,NTPC, Farakka ,saw its beginning on 9th August 1982 in the modest campus of Tiny Tots School at Nabarun.The foundation of the present campus was laid on 15th September 1982 and the school began functioning in 1986 with the active support of the National Thermal Power Corporation, Farakka. The establishment of this Vidyalaya at Farakka provides the privilege for the employees of NTPC, CISF and BSF personnel to educate their children at a reasonable fee structure

Almost good but some time it's saw ronge direction

Best school in the region. Talented Principal Sir and all the teaching and non teaching staffs are very helpful. Friendly atmosphere with utmost discipline. Students are taken care of with intense care and love. Blessed being an X student of this institution.

The school is getting worse day by day.....there are almost no teachers assigned by KVS itself.....only contractual teachers.......this school is just hyped....

Amazing faculty of teachers especially for humanities.. Principal Rajesh Diwedi sir , Dr. T.P Singh sir ,Dr. Seema Kumari and Saha sir were my favourite..It is the perfect place of learning with liberty ,the teachers are so genuine and motivating doesn't matter either ur the topper or mediocre... I am privileged to be a member of this fraternity... Not only in acedamics u can excel in co curricular activities also... Perfect place to shape Ur bright future.. I can garuntee that after studying here u will be a better person and will be able to learn everyday....

nice school. i was study 10 years at kv farakka. all the teachers was very nice. specially i miss Mr, Atanu Majhi Sir. and i Miss his god gifted handwritting.
