One peace and less touristy place located outside the village opposite to the lake there's paddy fields which adds extra beauty to the place.
This lake was built by Kempegowda in the memory of his beloved mother.

It is a clean and beautiful place. Where area is very peace and less tourist will visit the place it will be best to visit during winter and rainy season the lake will be full almost every time you visit. It is surrounded by a beautiful range of mountains and and greens everywhere. But beware of the deepest points in middle of the lake and you may drown in the silt.
Peaceful for lake views
It's a nice piece of water body to check out early in the morning. Nothing g much to do, other than to enjoy the view on the way to or from Kempegowda Fort. Word of caution : road is narrow enough for Motorcycle, and is in a state of construction as on 01/04/2018. From the lake, take the main road to reach Kempegowda Fort, the inner roads are in a sad state only ment for dual-sport or off-road adventure bikes. The roads are still narrow for 4 wheeler use.
The great ruler kempegowda built this lake for the sake of farmers. Holy place to nearby villages, they do gangamma pooja here.
Nothing to do except enjoying the beauty of nature while driving on lake bund.
