Kelva Beach - Tourist attraction in Kelwa - Palghar, India

It was nice visiting the beach. Car parking charge was just Rs20/- There is a speed boat, banana boat, horse cart, camel ride, toy cars, and cycles to have fun. There are shops for meals, snacks, tea, toys etc. It has a good crowd on weekends. We had a great time.

Amazing beach.. clean and water sports are also there. There is a temple near by the beach and the beach has a entry fees of 5rs.. must visit place with family and frnds..

Great beach with a long shoreline especially when visited in the mornings with less crowd Entry fee is 5rs , there is bath and changing rooms accommodation with lots of food stalls in the entrance. It's clean but but crowded in the evenings. Better to visit in the mornings

Kelva is a Good clean beach with peacefull atmosphere. We visited this place at evening, Here they collect entry charges for the beach. Paid parking is available for both 2-wheelers & 4-wheelers. Here I Tried ATV ride with my friends which was cheap and self driven. Evening is undoubtedly best time to visit this beach. While entering the beach you have options of fast food along side the road.

Calm and clean beach just a couple of hours drive from Mumbai. Lots of food stalls and activities on the beach to spend an entire evening of fun.

Water is dark so don't expect green or blue water .. sand is black .. like any other beach in monsoon this beach was also loaded with leaves, tree branches etc..advise enjoy the view but don't get into water unless you're crazy about water..

Kelve Beach 1. Location - Kelve Road ( Western Railway ) 2. Accomodation - virar to kelve road train - 20 Rs. Single each. Kelve station west to kelve beach Tumtum - 30 Rs. Single each. 3. Rides - horse riding, two seater & 3 seater bicycle riding, dirt bike riding, camel riding available at beach. 4. Language - Marathi - most commonly used Hindi - people know Hindi as well. 5. Ticket - 5 Rs. Entry taken by local people just for the purpose of cleaning the beach, which is acceptable. 6. Atmosphere - A good heart warming atmosphere to relax, chill, meditate and family outings. ( just avoid going in to jungle after sunset as lot's of mosquito bites you )

How to visit this Kelva Beach from Kelve Rd Stn: 1. Take Riksha from Kelve road stn west Note: before enter this beach, in entry gate you have to pay 5rs per person as fee (but it's worth to pay as villagers kept this beach very clean) It's very clean and less crowded beach best place to capture pics and walk with friends and family. Note: don't stay here especially after 7-8pm if you want to go your native place though railway (stn) because after 7-8pm you will not get any vehicle or riksha because it's village and it's less crowded so transportation option is less here. If you want to go with bike or car then fine enjoy or you can stay any resort which is near to this beach. There you can see many option for resort.
