Visited today the 26th feb for the first time coming all the way from Ranchi. Found it a beautiful location to chill out with friends and family. The mountains near by the dam are added beauty to it. This is one of the perfect place to done photography or shoot cinematic video. It's lacks basic amenities. Govt should look into it it and could be developed as a beautiful tourist spot. Lovely views of a small dam. Forests, hills, lake, park its all there. Serene atmosphere during monsoon. The fact that there are multiple water bodies interspersed by small hills make this place unique. Pathways have been created to take you to the top of a hill. Mostly frequented by students. Plenty of parking space. There is also a restaurant with great views.

Kelaghag Dam Very pleasant place to spend time in the evening Many people were visits on the Holidays Boat point was there And middle of the river there is Island you can go to reach top point. Recommended place for All.

Kelaghag Dam is the biggest dam of Simdega district or looks very attractive and attracts tourists, here you can have a picnic with family or friends. There is also a park in Kelaghag Dam where you can with your family. Time can be expanded, the atmosphere here looks very beautiful. Everything from food to drink is available here for you.
