Kebab Theatre - Featured Reviews (76)
Made a visit for dinner at this restaurant. Ambience is OK. Service is good. Taste is good but not great. Can visit once. My review is only for vegetarians. The review of dishes ordered is as follows: Munda Punjabi for OK. It's OK Ike liquid dal. Malai bechara Mirch ka maara and hangar ka kadak was ok. Darsaan-e-tarannum was good. Lucknow ishq was average. The quantity was less for all starters when compared with on par restaurants. Garlic naan was burnt more. Videsh-heaven on earth was OK. Zeera public is also ok. Saying tookda was good.
Kebab Theater is another great restaurant, and I'd like to give special mention to Habeeb & Chef Kutub and finally my server Khaja. You show attention to detail that many other Hotels could learn from. Their Indian cuisine and service is just the best.
We were greeted with utmost warmth by Noor. The attendants are Hearing and Speech impaired. They took extremely good care and were greeting all the guests with happy smiling faces. The ambience is film city Bollywood types and the menu - loving limited and delicious food. Thank you chefs for an amazing. If you're in HiTech city - Madhapur - areas around Lemon Tree then this is a Must visit place.
A visit to Kebab Theatre would make you pounder upon the very famous quote - "Why have abs when you can have Kebabs" and how. Situated inside the Lemon Tree Premier Hotel, Hitec City, this place would #stimulate all your senses with its simplistic decor hinged at our own #Bollywood Theme. The antique Telephone and retro Phonograph welcomes you at the entrance. The walls are adorned with famous and interesting Bollywood quotes giving you a glimpse of the yesteryears while the upholstery of the chairs are vibrant, colourful and decked up with prominent faces of the Indian #Cinema. The lightening is just right, not too bright, flashy and dim-lit. The live #Ghazals added its own charm and enhanced the dining experience to a next level. Though I am not a ghazal person to comment on their skills, but whatever songs they sung, it did enthral me. The mesmerizing blend of lyrics with simple music would for sure transport you to an enchanting world. The whole #experience was wonderful in every aspect and not just because it was a #Bloggers/#Reviewers Table but the same could be seen replicated to other general walk-ins too. #Smoked #Chaas (Buttermilk) - Served as part of amuse bouche, it instantly lifted me up and geared me for the upcoming tandoori dinner thanks to its stimulating charred flavour. The smoky flavour is infused inside the drink by keeping an activated charcoal covered with foil and surrounded by spices Dil Se - From the kitchens of Persia, this salty water (shorba) is a great way to start off your meal. The sweet tang of Tomato was slight with the tart lemony flavour hitting at the back of your throat along with cilantro leaves. Overall it was crumbly and melt in the mouth with a dominating cream flavour. #Baajirao Mastani - Going by the description, Paneer Cubes marinated with Paprika, bits of basil leaves and cashews. It was more or less similar to malai version of Paneer Tikka as I failed to spot the hues of red-orange colour which is generally imparted by Paprika. On the taste front, it was on par with its peer. #Gabbar Sa Kadak - Patties made with minced vegetables coated with vermicelli and deep fried. The first thing which shocked me was how oil-free these patties where. Exceptionally crunchy on the outside but at the same time melt-in-mouth from inside, it made for an addictive snack. Pehli Nazar ka #Paneer - A big shout out to all Paneer Lovers! Paneer roulade stuffed with green chutney on a bed of rich peanut gravy. Yes you heard it right. The curry was peanut based which was imparting the taste of "Mirchi Ka Salan" The gravy had all the ingredients such as Chillies, Tamarind Pulp, Cumin, Coconut and Curry leaves to get the right level of flavours and heat. Must try! #Bagbaan - Each of the dish that we feasted upon outdid the other except for Subz-E-Bahar. The spinach gravy was unusually mild which failed to give any flavour. Can safely skip this. #Desserts - The collection of Desserts over here routes down to #Nizami era boasting of sophistication and finesse in each of them. Paan flavoured Kulfi was bang on in its flavour and taste. Doodhi Halwa was stellar with addition of milk solids (Khova) and was relished by all. Malpua garnished with dry-fruits and served with thick rabdi was brilliant in its own league, but I like my malpua to be thin and crisp. Phirni was served at the right cold temperature and with ideal sweetness. Shahi Tukda drizzled with flavoured reduced milk was enticing to eyes and to taste-buds too except it turned out to a tad soggy. All in all, #Kebab #Theatre is a great place to savour a heavy meal and get pampered with their impeccable service. Kebabs and Main-course are priced at Rs 335++ and Desserts at Rs 255++. Take a back seat, sink into the #musical #reverie, bite on the luscious Kebabs and make your moments extraordinary, here at Kebab Theatre - a place which would not let you down on your special occasions.
Superb...Place...Kebab Theatre is Lemon Tree Premier's Bollywood themed, Indian speciality restaurant. It is open only for dinner. The Bollywood theme permeates all aspects of Kebab Theatre - the walls are adorned with posters of movies and movie stars old and new, superstars of the yesteryears grace the cushions of the chairs, and the menu features dishes like 'Phool Bane Aangaarey' and 'Albela Johnny'. All of it ends up being a bit kitsch and the random dish names a tad annoying. Thankfully, the music selection is considerate and the kitchen is competent. Kebab Theatre employs especially abled attendants who can not speak and hear. Patrons are encouraged to refer to the booklet placed on every table that lays out gestures for useful phrases such as 'I am ready for dessert'. However, it is not essential as the staff is well trained, attentive and helpful. The expansive kebab selection includes many of the familiar favourites like 'Tandoori Mushrooms' and 'Chicken Drumsticks'. However, the menu also successfully ventures beyond the usual suspects and offers interesting creations like crisp vermicelli coated mixed vegetable patties - 'Gabbar Sa Kadak' and chicken escalopes flavoured with pomegranate - 'Karishma Ka Raja Hindustani'.
Went for a dinner with 12 office colleagues to this place... Called 5 mins before leaving and Ramesh who works with lemon tree made sure that the tables are booked before we arrived... Thanks a lot for the customer service. First things first.... Having people who don't speak or hear manage the restaurant is so cool.... The way they approach us and take orders is simply superb... I was blown away by the entire team and their service... Never felt the need to have someone who can speak to take our order... 1 extra point just for this cause ... Respect The food was delicious... Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and served with love... The desserts and mutton rogan ghosh were the highlight of the dinner.... A great place... Definitely will visit again
Amazing place amazing Ambience and the best part amazing food! And the service, well rating it as 5 on 5 would be an understatement, it was a 10/5. For chicken lovers out there shahrukh ki pasand and karishma ka raja hindustani are must haves!! The garlic naan was amazing!! Videshi heaven on Earth was an indianized curry featuring zucchini, broccoli and asparagus! I absolutely loved the food here. Coming to my favorite part, the dessert, ordered a pan kulfi and was blown away completely!! They served caramel and nuts on the side which added to an amazing texture and taste!!
The best fish kebab I have ever had. It's delicious, curated with precision by the Chef and beautiful guest relationship (GRA) by Alesha and Habbeb. Plz do visit. I highly recommend these two lovely GRA's for a wonderful experience.
