It will take around 2 hrs jeep you. Better to take binoculars for good visibility and masks for dust. Rhinos, elephant, deer, lizards, water buffalo ets are visible. So many birds too. A very good experience

Central range of Kaziranga is best to see tigers. But you have to be Lucky to spot one. Suggested time to see tiger is in the morning safari. The best time to do this is during summer when the grasses will be burned to have better visibility

Good nature. Recommend to go on mornings. Amazing view points and animal spottings like rhinos, monkeys, wild deer, birds, etc. Very good for family vacation. Excellent jungle saffari. Recommended to go during winters i.e. from December to February.

A decent place for wildlife lovers however it is overhyped. First of all the entry ticket at the forest office is a chaos... with so many tourist visiting every year not sure why the system is still not in place.. we reached at 7:45 in the morning for the entry ticket at the forest office with the jeep safari driver and it took 50 minutes to get the ticket. There was no line people from everywhere were on the counter for it. After that we went inside the central range ( earlier I have visited the western range and was told that central is better) .. the ride was for about 30 km which took approximately 2 hrs. We saw rhino, elephant, buffaloes, deers at a distance. But not as per my expectations. The jeep driver was friendly and the security personnel were also nice. But as such the safari is not that exciting... Some may have different view however many visitors had the same to say. Plastics, packaged foods etc are not permitted inside the range so better don't take. There is a table where the security will keep if they find plastics things and you can take back after the ride. Note: carry sunglasses, masks as it is super dusty.. except if it rains. Also carry water bottles. My say: one time visit.. the other issue related to it is the hotels nearby who would cheat with your money. You may book hotels online but when you reach they will demand more and no receipt. They simply don't care.. either pay more that the online booking price or leave.. this is a sad attitude some hotels have I also came across a group who told that they booked a trip through a tour&travel agent which included a 4star hotel ( they paid Rs4580) but when they reached Kaziranga they were made to stay in a lodge and not as per the tour package. Please be careful in this regard... All may not be the same but please be very cautious while booking online ... Go for reputed hotels and agents not to spoil your trip.

The best experience for wild life lovers. This is the central range of Kaziranga National sanctuary. One can book safari to this range. One can spot the world famous one horn Rihno very easily in this range. Jeep safari, elephant safari are easily available in this range. There is a separate male female public paid toilet facility at the gate of this range. One can have views of numbers of birds and wild animal in this range apart from the Rihno. This range has nearby resorts and restaurants which tourists could find very easily.

Kaziranga NP Kohora Range. One of the preferred destination for one horn Rhino animal in Assam. During our stay in Borgos and IORA Resorts, we had explore this NP with Jeep and Elephant safari from Kohora Region. Both the experience are quite different. Do prefer the Elephant safari as you experience the closer encounter with animals due to off-road. Our jeep safari ended up with lots of dust in your ebtire body. Seeing a tiger is luck by chance. Rhinos are King of this place. Overall nice experience. Date of visit- December 2021 Enjoy some .

This range is best. We spotted a tiger but cud not photograph. The Jeep safari is the best way to explore the park. Great place and well maintained. The elephant safari starts early morning up to 7 am followed by Jeep safari. It is better to take both the modes to see diversity of wildlife. The people are friendly and helpful.

Mihimukh entrance. Except bottle no plastic is allowed inside. Its the entrance of central range. Inside view is awsome but western zone contains more wildlife.
