Kayamkulam Bus Stand - Bus stop in Kayamkulam - Alappuzha, India

One of the worst bus stand in Kerala. It seems like they don't do any maintenance works at all.

Though it's a small city, the stand is quite good and enough for the buses pass by. Almost all the buses stop here. It has got a good enquiry counter. There are nicely maintained toilets. There are plenty of shops including good no of tea and snack shops.

A State Govt operated Transport stand. Almost buses to all major locations are operated from this stand. There are a/c low floor buses available to Trivandrum and Ernakulam, but they are few in numbers (hope they would increase them in future, as it is much needed for long distance travel). The stand with its facilities are very minimal. No proper seating available, not well maintained buildings. Which improved could give a major boost to the state economy.

A well planned Bus Station. All long distance bus will be stopping next to the canteen (most en-route dining happens mainly at Kayamkulam stand), and the local bus can be availed at the stand which lies directly behind it. Both are in the same place, and a building (passage is available through it) separates them.

Its a good busstand. Good lodges are available near to this stand,good and average rooms are available at here. Near by hotels,bar, Gim are avilable.Very beautiful and historic Places like krishnapuram palace, temples, backwater lakes are near to this area.Very easy to approach .Mostly this area is crowded.Very nice hotels are available here.Very nice place we can purchase very good dress materials at reasonable rate.This place is near to the main road so that it is very easy to locate. Mostly rush in this area. Mostly ladies,kids and gents dresses are available here.Sarees are more attractive here,we will get north Indian sarees and also south indian sarees.Very beautiful and historic Places of martanda varma and Kayamkulam kochunni are located here, never miss this place, a beautiful location to study and also its very benefit for students.Very easy to approach and a very good beach at vallikkave and azhikal are near to this town.

This bus stand needs more development. Facilities available for passengers are not up to the mark. Not even good benches are there. But there is a comfort station and a canteen.

It's crowded most of the time. There is no reservation coupon counter. Most of the superfast buses stop here.

You could get all those bus services on route to alappuzha, kochi, and to trivandrum route at regular time intervals.. Super fast, deluxe, fast passenger variants are also accessible.. The one disadvantage is that those who wait for the bus shall stand beneath the burning sun due to unavailability of waiting shed or some structures like that..
