This shop is located in the Mint street of Sowcarpet area in Chennai. Famous spot for Chat items like Poha, Dabeli, Kachori and many more items. Price is reasonable. Quality and taste wise good. For those of you want to visit this shop, my advise is to come by 2 wheeler and parking the cars in that area is not possible. Landmark: Next to K Square Textile Showroom
Kiosk on mint street in sowcarpet. Being indori I searched for poha in chennai, a place which had no connection to it. The guy was from kota( rajasthan) and knew a bit about poha. I thought he would be from Gujarat as the street was full of them. The poha wasn't like the indori but it was good be called poha atleast as you can't expect that level from a place in Chennai. I had khaman and kachori too, they both tasted good and their chutney was a good to go with them. You have to either stand or take away as their only place for 1 to sit inside.
A small snacks shop in Mint street. Here you get Dhbeli, Vada Pav, Poha ... etc. There Dhbeli is very tasty. A must try.
Perfect quality, authentic taste. Cost wise, its a little bit overpriced, reducing it by Rs. 5 would justfy. But still, worth it. Excellent customer service, polite staff. dining area is cozy, but neatness, cleanliness, and hygiene is maintained thoroughly. overall, its a great place for a casual hangout.
They renamed it to poha wala, and plate of poha is what you order. Order regular or small. It was best.
One of Best dabeli in chennai. Their dabeli is worth the travel as the shop is situated interior of sowcarpet. Pricing is nominal and payment by cash and UPI. Parking can be done on the roadside in front of the shop. They also serve other north indian snacks but their dabeli is too good.
