Most beautiful temple. We can reach kattil mekkathil temple through Road as well as a Barge/boat. It's surroundings are beautiful. The temple is near to sea. All devotees visit the temple for fulfilling their wishes by hanging bell in a tree in the temple.
Very good Temple situated near the sea.This Temple has an amazing view. It is a belief that if you wish for something and tie a bell on the banyan Tree, your wish may come true.. You can reach by bus, nearest stop is Sankaramangalam.Jangar service is available that is not payable.. Over all a must visit place.
This calm and serene place is situated in a small island in between the seashore of the Arabian Sea and the backwaters. We can reach there either by the free ferry service or by the tiny boat. There is free parking space in front of the ferry. The main attraction of this temple is one banyan tree which is surrounded by thousands and thousands of tiny bells. There is a belief that if we tung the bells on the tree with a strong wish, it will be fulfilled. This is totally a serene place, rather than a tourist destination. It's a beautiful temple right on beach. When we went ie in Aug 2023 there was lot of construction going guess temple wall etc so could not see full glory of temple from beach side.
