Very good view point, we witnessed sunset. You will get to see nice mountain ranges. Not many tourist on this place. Google map will exactly take to the location, though will have to hike 200-300 mtrs behind thr trees. Only 3-5 cars could be parked as the road is narrow.
The place is located at a bit off beat area. The Google maps take you down to the right place, I e. A point directly on road. You need to park you car along with the wild bushes. You'll find a narrow steep upward path from between the bushes and trees. Need to take that , be mindful of the thorns and branches which keep popping on your head. It's a good 10 mins walk trek from where you have parked your car. Around 300 mts. Trek up the path. The path is mud based, and don't forget keeping an umbrella if you see clouds. We got stuck due to heavy rain. Had to wait for 15 mins before going up the trek. And it was drizzling throughout. So had to keep the umbrella with us for the whole time. After reaching on the top , you will see the whole valley , it's really beautiful serene. The ground is covered with grass. And since hardly there are any people around sk you can echo your voices. Be mindful of your feet. There are broken pieces of glass lying all around, which can easily get your feet if you are not wearing footwear properly. Since, The place is a bit secluded, try going in groups and rather not alone.
Quite a refreshing place, best to feel composed, allows you to connect instantly with nature and it's sounds, quite a peaceful getaway. Not commercial as of now, atleast like the other places at Coorg, which added to the charm and makes it a hidden gem. Went with a bunch of colleagues. Worth considering this place for unwinding and relaxing with friends, a walk or some meaningful discussions / conversation
Wonderful offbeat viewpoint! Best for sunrises and sunsets. It's so cool and breezy and best for having some peaceful time!
Morning sunrise view point. Best time to visit between 6 to 7 AM during Mar to May. June to Feb visit any time this place is awesome. Better view than Raja seat.
It's very calm and peaceful up here. We have a 4x4 vehicle so we drove down the rocky road but it seems it only leads to one private property (gate may be closed but at that time it was open) and another house down the road (it's a dead end after that). To go where you need to - park the car by the main road, and then walk up to the location on foot between shrubs which have thorns so be careful. I recommend returning before it gets dark as it is difficult to find your way back. If you end up getting lost, look where patches of grass have disappeared over time because of frequent footfall.
The view from the hill is very nice, it's a good place to have a tent stay and all, not that much good, but okay, no proper way for entrance, good in cloudy days, not much crowded
Hidden place with an open meadow and trees. Good place for a peaceful time. No crowd. P. S: don't go here in the middle of the night. There's literally no light.
