Pilgrim spot of Hindus. adventureus path, u can go in the vehicles organized by the forest department.A Torrent flowing along the path.its very close to one of the log houses of chinnar eco tourism.can't go all days in the year.can go only in Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and the festive seasons

Have been to Chinnar check post for a week for Tiger Census. had a chance to visit the temple 4-5 times. Its really nice place. there will be Santhai (bazaar) where you can get food as well as local medicines from forest. Had purchased honey and original Sambarani which was obtained from some tree in forest. Also you can see interesting structures called as "Dolmen" which are single-chamber megalithic tomb and believed to be constructed at least 2000-3000 years ago. There are these Dolmen everywhere in the world but here they are in much good condition maybe due to Forest area. Please like if the review was useful to you.

Temple timing Morning 6 o clock to evening 3.30 Only Thuesday and Sunday only open

Every month amavasai temple will be opened other than tuesday thursday and sunday will be opened timing 7 am to 3 pm

Inside the chinnar forest. 3 Kms to travel by the jeep arranged by forest department. Water is pure and we can enjoy in the river
