This can be a great spot for boating and lot of rare birds can be spotted here, but no proper maintenance.

Constructed during the times of qutb shahis, Neglected by the authorities. if proper care of this lake is taken it can be developed into a tourist spot.
The Katora Houz is a site protected by the Archeological Survey of India, but only on paper. In reality, the Katora Houz, the nearly 460-year-old tank at Golconda, built by the Qutub Shahi rulers, which was a fresh water storage tank is nothing more than an open septic tank. Garbage from the nearby residential areas are being dumped into it.Thanks to the ASI officials who have done little to preserve it. Ratings are given only for its historical significance
