Shows the brilliance of Hindu temples...Temple is not active & don't expect Pooja & Idol here.. Kathula baavi is closed long back...This architectural remains are not taken care... You can see the old Telugu literature on the walls... There is a rangasthalam inside the temple/ dance area..the pillars give bass sound just like tabla & drums..this architectural brilliance should be appreciated...this is one of the best..but unfortunately there is no body to take care of this...so visitors will be disappointed Note: Do visit...but don't damage these remains...
Don't expect too much before visiting this place, because the well(kattula Bavi) is closed years ago.. if you expect something big definitely you will be disappointed a lot., just visit this place to see ancient and historic construction or sculpture
The place famously known as 'Kathula bavi' means the well filled with swords. 2. Present this well doesn't exist. Totally filled with soil, mud etc. 3. When you visit kondaveedu fort. Pls do visit this medival temple also 4. No shops present here. No water, no snacks, no eatables. Please get your own

Actually ita a hindu temple called gopinath temple..Some one says inside shiva lingam also..It's very beautiful architecture..Built in vijayanagaram period.. These Temple also called kattula bavi after an huge royal family murder incident..

Good place but the well is now closed just you can see the previous temple . There is a local guide who explains the history by taking small amount.
The maintenance is not well If you have a camera you'll get some good pictures that's it.. Nothing more to visit there
Many entertaining things put in place....for kids, and adults! However, nature itself has formed really good cool spots...find them and check them out. A Suggestion would be to plan a part of the day to enjoy all of it and leave after having a meal.
