It is 3.5 km away from Kathua Bus stand. Almost all trains have a station here. You can take all trains from here. There is passenger sheds and chairs like all other small stations.
It's a place well connected with neighbouring states via road and trains . A small town but having a good market near gurudwara
Just search in app "where is my train" you will get exact arrival and departure time of train. And be punctual I have missed 1 time.

In Kathua Station every train coming to Jammu or going from Jammu stops for few minutes.
It is nice and clean station. The only thing that lacks here is the announcements. You won't get any idea about the upcoming trains and there are no led displays which tells you about the train no. which is standing on a platform.you have to be on your own. But thats alright it's a small station and you can't expect to much...
Looks good.many basic facilities are not available on this station.it is a smaller station on the main route of pathankot to jammu tawi railway station.it is first station of jammu kashmir after punjab on this rail route.all the prepaid sim card stops working from this railway station....
One of the important Train station in J&K. Not very big but clean. Station area needs to be renovated and shed facility must be provided to other side.
