Katernia Ghat Forest Rest House - Guest house in Katarneya Ghat Range - Bahraich, India

Rest house is proper, neat and clean place to stay. The food is home like. The tea is rotten. They do not know to prepare the tea. Katernia is scenic beauty. The tiger sighting is rare and uncertain. For birding, this is a nice place.

Katarniya Ghat Forest rest house is literally in the middle of the forest. Tiger and leopard sightings are frequent and very close to the rest house. The stay is very hospitable, people are nice, and the jungle is pristine. There is tiger sighting from boating in the Gerua River. Must visit.

Good place to visit if you are a nature lover. Though very difficult to see a tiger here but ample number of deers and alligators can be spotted here. Mobile network is not available here. Advisable to previous your accommodation online. Services are a bit lagging.

Neat and clean rooms with canteen service. Don't keep your expectations too high as you will get only the basic amenities, which is good considering the rest house is in the middle of the forest.

These newly built guest houses are nice and clean. Also the kitchen staff is friendly and serve home cooked food. Don't forget to ask them about Chota Rajan.

It's a forest reserve, you can visit here for jungle Safari, if you're lucky you might be able to see a tiger in the wilderness

Tiger and leopard huts are in average conditions. Motipur and kakraha rest houses are much better.
